Medical Device & Drug Development Equipment Integrated Marketing
CLIENT:
Parker Hannifin Corporation (Life Sciences)
Launched Life Sciences business unit and new products when in-house resources weren't available.

The client was faced with a major marketing challenge in addition to launching several new products and a new business unit—his division's in-house marcom specialist was on extended leave. Corky Thacker Communications created the Life Sciences logo by researching the corporate graphic standards, talking with the Corporate Communications department, and working with a designer the client requested.

We supported the launches with press releases/kits and media relations, arranging interviews at international trade shows that included Medica, Drug Delivery Technology™ World Congress, and Lab Automation. Feature articles on the value of engineering and product development strategic partnerships to increase speed-to-market and reduce costs ran in Machine Design and Medical Design News.

The introduction ad we created for the VSO EP™ Miniature Electronic Pressure Controller stressed that it was the market's smallest closed-loop active controller. The product simplified integration for medical and analytical device OEMs and allowed the replacement of four components with one palm-sized plug-and-play package.
